The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a busy warehouse setting. This role requires experience in handling goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following health and safety procedures.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Ability to pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Physically able to lift, move, and handle goods safely
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential)
Preferred Experience
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Previous work in distribution centres or large-scale warehouses
- Experience in fast-paced or high-volume environments
Warehouse Operator
Warehouse Operations: Handle goods efficiently including loading, unloading, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
Inventory Control: Assist in stock checks, inventory accuracy, and proper storage of products.
Health & Safety: Follow all safety procedures, use PPE correctly, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Teamwork & Communication: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily targets and operational goals.
